Another herb and spice for weight loss that I put in almost all my dishes!  It has such great flavour and so little calories.

The research on garlic suggests it is effective for reducing inches off your waist. Consider sprinkling it on your food or putting in your meals, cooking with it is so easy! 

9. Ginseng

Ginseng is great for increasing your energy, the more energy you have the more you can exercise!  But that’s not all it’s good for.

Ginseng is one of the best spices and herbs for weight loss. According to research, the plant root enhances your metabolism which helps to reduce the amount of calories you eat.  It is a win win situation!

10. Fenugreek

This is a spice I had never heard of until I started researching herbs and spices that help with weight loss.  Another spice that has plenty of fiber that makes you feel fuller for longer. This means you won’t overeat and this means you won’t gain weight.

A lot of herbs and spices for weight loss fenugreek can easily be added to your diet through supplements.

11. Dandelions

I know it can be a gardener’s nightmare having all those dandelion weekds however I think they are beautiful little flowers!

Parsley is such a delightful herb to use. We use it on our pasta on steak and anything else that takes our fancy!

15. Coriander seeds

Alas I can’t eat coriander seeds as I’m allergic to them!  In terms of coriander as a way of helping with weight loss it’s an antioxidant and great for digestion, this helps your body get rid of excess free radicals which in turn helps increase your metabolism.
